If you want an algorithm that controls what you see, that's up to you. I don't want to see them applied on any apps that I use.

As long as you can see that the answer is subjective, it's fine. If I'm following thousands of profiles, I might want search algorithms that can help me narrow down my feed based on subject, or locale, or whatever criteria. But the use of such algorithms needs to be under my control, not turned on by default.
