Allowing spam doesn't just cost the spammers fees, it makes running a node more expensive for everyone and using Bitcoin as money more expensive for everyone.

Also, allowing child porn amongst that spam, any other kind of illegal content, is going to actually make running a node itself illegal.

This is why I can't think of a single reasonable explanation for being pro spam.

Why can't they just put the spam on a different blockchain ?

Why remove the filter at all? What benefit does it hold to do so? Things were working fine for the most part where they not?

Fees alone cannot solve spam issue Jimmy. Government has money printer and they really don't need to print that much money to perform DOS attack with spam on bitcoin. I still can't believe how you missed this very important point in this vlog.
