What is a Key Compromise Policy (KCP)?
This policy covers the existence and use of procedures that must be taken in the event a cryptographic key/seed or its operator/holder is believed to have become compromised.
Procedures must be in place to deal with a situation where a private key has or potentially become:
- Known
- Determinable
- Destroyed
