the sad part about “crypto” is that it has slandered bitcoin and now the gp group them together.

the average person is not going to want to learn more about bitcoin if all they know are the negativities that is perpetuated by crypto coins. especially since the media operates by plastering the downfalls, and groups bitcoin and crypto together.

i was that average person, until i joined nostr and learned the truth.

I was that person too. It took someone I deeply respected nudging me gently for weeks before I became open minded to Bitcoin. I don't know how we fix it

Well you just said it, earn peoples trust and ask them to just hear you out. Thats what I do , doesn't always work , but if the train leaves the station without them, they are going to learn either way.
