I believe greed is a key motivator in why we lack cures for diseases like cancer or Alzheimer's. You can't get repeat customers with a cure.

I also believe there are genuinely good people working to make these cures and dedicate their lives to the cause, but there is almost always a bean counter or two in the way of their goals.

I’m convinced that there are good people researching what causes Alzheimer’s and cancer. Unfortunately they don’t have the money to move forward.

What do we have to show for after 50 years of war on cancer? We still don’t know how to prevent it.

Unfortunately, prevention is not profitable. *I can’t believe I typed this*

And I have a strong suspicion that ultimately the answer to how to prevent them will be “eat real food” and exercise. Which is so powerful yet not what most people what to hear.

PS: I couldn’t zap you. I got the message that your profile doesn’t support it. You should get a Lightning address at getalby.com.

I've come to my own realization that your body only works best based upon what you put into it, so the last part of your reply resonates with me a lot.

In regards to the zapping, I appreciate the thought! I've been afraid of setting up Bitcoin because I don't want to go through the mess of reporting it on my taxes. Maybe someday I'll change my mind.

Yes I see there is Bitcoin tax software out there, but would I effectively be taxed twice if I move assets from an exchange wallet to a cold wallet? You don't have to answer that question, but any advice you can give is appreciated.

Moving your Bitcoin from one wallet to another is not a taxable event.

Thanks for the tip!
