What is the content we are talking about? Notes? Image links imbedded in notes hosted elsewhere? Blogs on habla? If the relays aren’t sustainable yet everyone else can chill out IMO. Content creators? How about the service providers providing the relays the content creators are using?
Being a content creator as a job means building an audience with your content and then monetizing your audience with additional benefits to your audience or tangible products for your audience.
Just observe the successful ones and see what they are doing. None of them are attempting to buy their bread shaking a can for zaps only. They are using their audience that they curate a relationship with, as a pipeline of selling something else of value.
At this point the tech and network is speculative and early. Everyone participating with an economic angle has a first mover advantage. Sometimes being on the bleeding edge means you bleed.
