Amethyst doesn't show notifications unless you are directly cited in them, not only in the original message. I don't think it was ever a problem for the app.

Ah, good to know it never was a problem on Amethyst. I'm a newer user. I don't recall ever getting these notifications in Amethyst, was mainly my desktop account on Snort.
Sorry if that was confusing, just seemed like a setting that would cut down on the hell thread problem. hah
