The average user is never going to do key management, at least as we have it now, in it's current form. I agree with nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 here. We need better solutions to help the technology move into the background and just seamlessly work, so that people can just experience Nostr. Most don't care how the sausages are made. They just like to eat them. #nostrasia

I have done my time in the IT support mines. This is so true.

Most people don't have the combination of patience, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to deal with private keys. It's fine to say "git gud" for early adopter tech types, but it will never reach the mass of common folk that way.

Then they're key management will have to be trust.
