I have a feeling the forced ID verification is going to be a big tailwind for Nostr. Yes, many NPCs will verify but there will be a solid percentage of users who draw the line and seek alternatives. Keep building out their life boats!

One huge potential upside is that it will give a stage for people to easily circumvent it, and ultimately reduce credibility of all KYC.
Generally these identity companies have a % fraud tolerance, but it's unseen because of financial regulations. Now people will exploit it for sport, and these companies won't be able to catch up.
Could usher in much wider beclowning of KYC in general.
