For years I couldn’t figure out what I was tasting when I ate a Chick-fil-A sandwich.
My wife discovered that marinating the chicken in pickle juice is how they do it. I didn’t believe it until I tried it.
Tastes almost exactly the same.
Damn that sounds good. Marinate before dipping in batter? For how long?

She didn’t even batter them but the marinating time was overnight.
Marinate in pickles, batter, sourdough bread with chips, jalepenos, sharp cheddar, apple, and arugula

At least 45 minutes, but over night is best.
