90% of Americans have at least one marker for metabolic syndrome. NINETY PERCENT. 50% of Americans are obese or overweight. More than 10% of the total population has full blown type 2 diabetes. The CDC estimates > 26% of Americans have a disability. The root cause of almost all of this is this hyper processed toxic pseudo-food.

Most countries are seeing similar trends to the US. There has never been a time in human history where the health of an average person has been so poor. And from something completely preventable and reversible (diet). Absolute insanity.

In the sixties, birth control was becoming widely available and drug companies were able for the first time ever quantify how much a person on a monthly medication was worth.

A sick person is a valuable commodity.

An obese child is worth literal millions over the course of their lifetime.

Perverse incentives get perverse outcomes.
