It was a wild day at the SWIMstead. I did not take Bundjil the Eagle seriously enough and he came back after this first visit when I was evidently cocky about my Dadding skills.
He managed to get a claw into the cage and gash open the chest of Linnie (after Linux), one of our best singing roos. He might be okay, he is resting away from the others currently.
Unfortunately Chief was watching (remember Chief?):
He was so traumatised by a Bird-God with a wingspan as wide as his house that he seems to have had a haemorrhagic stroke, or something similarly neurological, as he could no longer move normally and seemingly accidentally drowned himself. No external trauma noticible. Sad to see Chief dead. He was so beautiful.
In the spirit of death, we killed five other boys and they are currently spatchcocked marinating:
It was truly astonishing the energy around the coveys when I caught Bundjil the second time. A very eerie, dark, and immense presence. I threatened Bundjil with death, and I am now sitting in the emotions and reality of threatening with death the creator of all.
I have the taste of blood on my teeth.
Bundjil, just like your old friend Waa (the Raven) bars no holds when it comes to eating the faces off lambs as they are being born—neither shall I with You.

I tried to see if Romeo would refrain from punching everyone:
I put him with all the boys and he focussed his energy on Dex, the small brown fella underneath on the left here:
Dex was severely hurt and soon put of his misery, as they say.
Romeo is also no longer alive.
These will be eaten with Chief, who turned out to be a different kind of keeper, I suppose.
On a less deadly note, here is a pic of the boy's cage on the right, and the cage with the girls plus one roo on the left. I could watch them all day. 
On a further excellent note, here are two insanely beautiful boys on the left, and three certainly lovely girls on the right, all of who I will continue to be very protective of and deeply disinclined to kill.
I like having boys around for manure, songs, and cuteness. But they kinda have to get along.
