If you’re importing a 24 word seed into a ColdCard, upon entering the 23rd word, does the CC automatically determine then display the 8 possible words for the 24th word checksum?

Yes it does, it asks you to choose among those 8 words

Yes, my MK4 does list all possible checksum options after entering the 23rd word.
