The one nice thing about being a straight white guy in corporate America is that, if you actually make it in, you never get asked to do anything. No one wants to hear what you have to say, and you’re never asked to “head a committee” or “lead an effort” or “participate in company offerings”. You’re just expected to do your job well and you get left alone.
