GM .. I found this sweatshirt when packing.. a great reminder I dont know what I have done but I tried to loop all my accounts back to beacon. I also tried to get a new android phone yesterday and got overwhelmed with all the bait and switch. Its free, no it has a down. Well its not free but we credit you the cost each month so really it is. Blah blah. Then I hear new phones all have tracking on them ? Wtf. So since this group is very techy. It’s obvious you like android. What android do you recommend? I have tmobile. I can get s refurbished phone online, what are your favs? And also my handle is the same for my dupes. I have a oneplus 7t from 2019/early 2020, can't remember, that is still working perfectly fine for me.... i don't play games or stuff. It also has an open bootloader on it so you can do like derek said and later on when and if you want, you can install an operating system of you choice. There are plenty of degooglfied options out there.

Another good thing about getting an open phone is that there are projects that keep them up to date security wise after the manufacturer stops. They either force you to buy a new phone, or walk around with a bunch of vulnerabilities.
