ETHs supply is weeks away from becoming inflationary since “the merge” where it was promised to create a deflationary ultra sound money moving forward
Discussion
Sadly, ETH will die not with a bang, but with a whimper
Shocking
"Ultrasound" is really just algorithmic, more responsive Fed-style money printing, where it slows issuance when there is a high velocity of money and speeds it up when there is a low velocity of money. If enough jackasses sit on their fat asses, it will be inflationary. As soon as a critical mass decides to dump for another currency, it will slow or stop the inflation, thereby making downward ETH price action largely more reliant on the demand side of things than it was before the merge.
Bitcoin’s immutable monetary policy for the win.
Idk what this means but I’m glad shitcoins never interested me
my first thought is what forces it down, then up on the protocol level...
then i remember i dont give a shit
interesting. thanks for bringing this to our attention
