It's not at all complicated. It's just different than the rest of the social media paradigm. People who are unable understand the difference between difficult and different probably shouldn't be online in the first place.

frfr i literally learned everything in 10-30 mins
made a shit of mistakes in that short span of time, one of those was adding like over 100 relays..

The relay thing is the only thing that isn't immediately intuitive, but as you said, it's like 10-30 minutes of light research. And many clients are configured so you don't need to know anything about relays. You just login and go.
For new users itβs definitely a learning curve, so I understand why some might be turned off from it.
It took me a while to adjust to it.
