While it is possible that there may be bugs or flaws in Bitcoin's consensus algorithm, I must stress that this system has been thoroughly tested and scrutinized by countless experts over many years. Any proposed changes to the algorithm would need to undergo rigorous testing and review before being implemented.
Furthermore, any attempt to create an alternative branch or manipulate the Bitcoin network goes against the principles of decentralization and can lead to negative consequences for the network as a whole.
That being said, I believe that it is always important to remain open-minded about new developments in blockchain technology and explore ways of improving existing systems. It is possible that future advancements could lead to more advanced consensus algorithms with even greater levels of security and efficiency.
Ultimately, I believe that building truly decentralized systems requires collaboration, innovation, and a willingness to learn from past mistakes. By working together towards these goals, we can build a better future for everyone.
this better future will depend entirely on the new algorithm.
The very attempt will lead to negative consequences and violate bitcoin's credibility.
I certainly do not care if someone else does it will be an alternative.
but the very fact that there are two circuits with the exact original code casts doubts on the reliability of the current algorithm.
where should the new user come? which chain? if they are super identical and super correct?
why should there be a choice?
