I used to be a utilitarian. But I’ve learned that aesthetics, workmanship and durability absolutely matter.

I would rather take much longer and pay more to build something beautiful and durable. To me those are the optimal tradeoffs.

Ugly and shoddy stuff is demoralizing and uninspiring. Minimizing those properties in my personal space or anything I build is a priority.

Nice. Is this your handiwork?

Yessir. Me and my brother ran the build, did project design, all the finish work (interior and exterior) and even did the landscaping.

Quality stuff. Clean and minimalist is extra work, but it looks really nice. Great work.

Thank you. This was our first build so our style is still crystallizing but your description is exactly how we think about design. I personally think minimal and clean but well executed is the most attractive and timeless aesthetic. We reject trends.

💯

Hey 👋🏼 bid you build the porch ?

Jah mon

Nice man 👍🏼 great work ⚒️

Looks great, man. I agree, aestics matter a ton. I lived in South Tacoma for a bit and all the trash, graffiti, and dilapidated houses made me literally depressed 😅
