If XMPP messenger wants to be user friendly / to have expected features, it has to implement a lot of extensions (XEPs) where many of them are in "draft" state past 15 years.

Tried to find multiplatform client other than pidgin (a lot of troubles), but failed.

Extensions are a good thing, just like nostr's NIPs.

Pidgin is not the best client around anymore. Try Gajim or Dino. And Coversations on Android.

Tried gajim few days and returned back to pidgin. I just need organization of upen chats in vertical oriented tabs.

Anyway, I need windows/linux client - to have just one sw supported by our it team.
