My node is not connecting to peers.

tor.service is running fine.

command = bitcoin-cli getconnectioncount

result = 0

if dnsseed=1 (for bitcoind), then bitcoind fails to start (problem with bitcoin.service)

if dnsseed=0 , then I don't get any peers.

is there a recent, decent list of nodes that I can connect to via IP address?

I'm guessing the network problem is DNS related - it usually is.

I believe that in this tutorial, he talks about how to tell your node to talk to a few specific nodes and once you get that connected your node will query others and you can delete the specific node you entered. This series is excellent. Hope it can help.

Thank you, I'll give this a try.

Looks like thesolutions you suggested is at 24:30 in the newer video:

Unfortunately that didn't fix my problem. I'll keep troubleshooting.
