i probably knew about Bitcoin before you did. i used to buy research chemical psychedelics on the internet around the time of Silk Road, though i never used Bitcoin or Silk Road itself, but i knew about it.

it was only years later that Bitcoin started to generate buzz as an investment.

when Bitcoin first appeared we all understood it was for buying drugs online.

Back in my day, we had to download music from IRC XDCC bots, files sharing websites, and FTP servers. It took an hour to download a 3 minute song.
