It makes a lot of sense that the people without bitcoin that I know contort themselves into the pretzels necessary to signal compliance with this insanity. Like, in some cases, their company's HR Dept has basically made their agreement with this arbitrary ettiquete a prerequisite to opening an Excel spreadsheet. FWIW my HR department has somehow allocated 7 hours of the company's collective attention to DEI&B training, and I am morbidly curious to find out what happens when I don't attend the requisite threshold.

Working a corporate office gig was always a bit like living in East Germany, but I'm so glad I got out of that world and into self-employment just before all that really went into overdrive. Sometimes I wish I could eavesdrop on some of those sessions and peoples' subsequent performance reviews to get a better sense of just how bad it is these days.
