Same. I was there when the activists where trying to change it, and I'm going to keep it master just to spite them
my new 'legit' golang git hosting thing by chance had the first main branch string as "master" and the other options just didn't work so i went back to it on my new repos at https://mleku.net and i don't see any reason why it should ever have been changed, and it's not changed in the Git codebase only on Github et al woke tech bro companies
