You are being lied to. It doesn't prevent that at all. In fact, that's already long possible and even cheaper ON CHAIN with inscriptions. Opening OP_RETURN is no incentive at all, because it's the same but severely more expensive. But that's the thing, it people like you who do not get it. Same as the BSV people that still exist. Data can be stored on Bitcoin, it's even cheaper with Inscriptions, this change adds no incentive to add any data that you name....
