Yeah what

Hmm. I'm thinking that Jack's quote could be taken several ways...

"don’t depend on corporations to grant you rights.

defend them yourself using freedom technology.

(you’re on one)"

To me, it meant that you're using a corporation's product. X Corp. Don't depend on it. But, I guess it could also mean that Twitter is a freedom technology helping you defend your rights.

Should I start questioning Jack hahah

🀨

he kinda double dipped and posted this on here and on X

oh i didn’t know he posted that, i thought elon was taking it out of context.

Yea it shows as 11:01 AM for both the nostr note & tweet nostr:note1awa6kyufetxrvsl5j0s583hzxrcuah9demk8y5yyz6k7lhun9knq60rgtr

yeah, jack has betrayed us

eh, I’m sure its more free than other platforms. It’s a spectrum. Custodial freedom? πŸ˜†

Freedom means different things to different people I guess πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I can’t imagine feeling free on there after seeing so many of my friends get booted.

Right. I don't think of Twitter as being a beacon of free speech when people get banned and entire countries get censored.

Don’t you have to pay to reach more of your followers too? I’m not up to date on the blue check mechanics.

Yes. "Freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach" is their moto.

😬

it is until it isn't

"corporations" (without freedom technology) vs "freedom technology"

Gotta start asking how much #Musk is paying nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m to say that.
