I respectfully disagree with this note, but only time will tell.

The cat is out of the bag, and Bitcoin stole all the thunder. Satoshi wisely stepping away was the final key to bitcoin’s future/continued decentralization.

I highly doubt anything will be able to recreate this naturally. Bitcoin WAS the invention. Any other “decentralized* digital cash” if it can come into fruition will be outside the “crypto” space.

It will have to be something we can’t even imagine right now. It won’t be another… blockchain.
