When you dig and you're not biased, you come to the conclusion that shit, it points to that he stole it.

When you're a billionaire and you do stuff with your money, it's easy to confuse people.

It’s always easy to confuse people. Most confuse themselves already. lol. You’re right though. Money helps shaping opinion and guiding action.
