When aomeone asks: do you plan on making baby food from scratch?
I respond: No, I just feed my children what my husband and I eat.
Obviously, only foods that are age appropriate, but I'm not cooking a separate meal for my toddler.
I've seen posts for baby food and toddler recipes. They're usually require multiple ingredients and using multiple dishes/utensils to prepare.
That's a waste of resources.
The most effort I ever put into making baby food was cutting an avocado, peeling a banana, or mashing up our adult food.
What are you teaching your child if you prepare a separate meal for them?
Don't let trendy parenting "hacks" suck you in. They're a sham.
