SOS! Not a tech guy here.
My umbrel node w/1 tb mem has reached its limits. So said umbrel. I can no longer connect to it.
So please offer your opinion. Should I:
1) start over vs attempt recover (prune)
If start over
2) umbrel vs ?
What else? Been down for about a week and I just don't like this feeling. Not a lot of sats at stake, not a tech person so explain like I'm drunk. I just might be.
I heard good things about start9 and their os EmbassyOS
I would first attempt to recover. If it's really just not enough free space left on your drive then maybe try to clone to bigger drive:
- buy 2TB drive
- clone your existing drive partition to new drive (plenty of disk cloning tools are available)
- expand cloned partition on new drive to 2TB
- connect it back to your node and hope it works :)
