what are daisy dukes?
I just finished my Google research & it seems theyβre what some call short shorts or women wearing short shorts bc of a show back in the last 70s early 80s called dukes of hazzard, main protagonist n sex symbol was a character named daisy dukes who wore short shorts lol

Akchewly it's Duke singular. The Dukes plural were the family of the Mopar car guys and the short/shorts actress Catherine Bach.
Didn't need Google, I'm from that vintage lol.
Pre internet, the best one could do was a wall poster - a la pin-up "sex symbols" like Ms Bach, Farah Fawcett, etc. Daisy Dukes and the iconic red one piece swimsuit adorned many a bedroom wall of 70s male adolescents.
