I'd say it's far deeper than that. Likely some could view it as a factor, but I wouldn't think that's the primary reason. There are a lot of issues with the UN, the main one being a vehicle of world policy control. Hard to explain without a backgrounder, so check out the book or audiobook of The Creature From Jeykll Island. (There is an 8 hour abridged audiobook version on Youtube and a few other platforms). Breaks down the UN roll and how it ties in with the Central Banking / IMF / Socialism, etc. I'm sure there are other good resources, but I thought it ties it all together quite well.

The U.N. is useful as a central point of negotiation between all the nations of the Earth. Given there are 193 nations, the alternative to the U.N. is 18,538 bilateral treaties constantly in flux.

It is my strong opinion they should not have power. All of the shit the administration wants, that the WEF wants, the socialism, that bullshit, I am against.

But when it comes to nations debating and voting, I am for that, and critique of the former is not critique of the latter.

Putin was asked about this point and he made clear he supported the U.N. because it is all we have for worldwide negotiation, and you have to work with what you have.
