If you live in the western world, they will most likely be the last ones to change their minds about you.
Continue on course regardless.
That's true but it's so frustrating sometimes! I'll never change my mind about it for sure tho, I'll always keep stacking.
It took me 11 years to change my father's mind about bitcoin. But in actuality, he's only a little convinced.
What I started doing was that every time he runs into regulation, KYC or financial mandates that slow down his work, I immediately tell him that I could do the same transaction without a single headache.
This however also brought out the BDS in him 😂
I’ve run into this. Just stay the course and ignore the fact that they all think you’re a bit off or misguided.
I’ve been told it’s a Ponzi scheme and that the government will just outlaw it. However, I did have a reasonable conversation about it a few nights ago. Baby steps.
Any time I find a situation, which is often, where Bitcoin solves the issue being discussed, I say “Bitcoin solves this.” Usually I get some rebuke to that, but then I try to briefly explain how it solves the issue.
Just stay the course. This is a mindset change that we’re working toward here, and it’s not going to be easy for some people.
