Hey Nelly, we're all here for you my friend. I know its not in person, but we love you. My first husband died very young, and I was very lonely for a long time. But i think it helped to go out to places where there were lots of people, because usually I would find someone to chat with. And even though they might be strangers, it was human interaction, and i think that helped me. Join clubs of whatever hobbies you like, be it sports, chess, book clubs, hunting, you never know who you might become friends with.
Hey nostr fam, send Nelly some words of encouragement, and just say hi.
Both for me nostr:npub1w975kchdvcw7c50m8xtzw29yynwsp78dk6x693fg2xme5zkj23js6xgfqv they're equally useless without somebody to share it with.
Just know you're not alone, far from it π₯²
Freedom!
Iβd say itβs both, depends on the day and your current mood. Iβm close to being an empty nester and have been pondering this very thing lately.
Aren't all aspects of life a matter of perspective?
You could fall victim to those circumstances and feel lonely or you could be lucky enough to have the freedom to create that same set of circumstances for yourself.
Or you could create your own freedom and find that it's such an unfamiliar feeling that you associate it with loneliness because that's what you've been conditioned to associate.
Both, just depends on the day and your perspective I guess
