I'm curious about that trip too. Was thinking about making that trip myself but I think I can get on way before Newark.
Driving/parking in the city is totally do-able, but also can take a bit of getting used to. Depends where you’re staying, of course, if you’re spending the night.
I have family members who do the train from Newark periodically and they say it’s pretty chill.
MegaBus is also cheap af sometimes. And Amtrak is rarely cheap, but always pretty convenient.
I don't mind driving most of the way there. I just really do not look forward to driving in the city itself. I took MegaBus 10 years ago. I felt like I was going to die. It was a small bus/large van and the driver did not make me feel confident 😂 Never again.
Hahaha fair enough! Well I’ve heard good things about the Newark train so that might be your best move. As long as you plan out the timing/route with Google maps (or whatever) up front, it should be pretty smooth
I did it the other day and parking was way easier to find than I had imagined. Traffic was pretty bad but parking was fine. Amtrak price gets better the further in advance you order your train ticket.
