I was recently asked to interview for a fairly high level state position…I initially accepted and put the date on my calendar…

1st red flag: person calling me to book the a lot knew nothing…

2nd red flag: website I had to go to in order to read about the position, of course didn’t work

3rd and final flag…got follow up email with 5 multi page forms and attestations I had to complete in order to confirm the interview..,

I emailed the lady back and said, cancel my interview, I’m not interested.

I can’t imagine the internal conflict I would deal with everyday as I went to work knowing I was subscribing to the very thing I’m fighting against.
