Check out stable diffusion controlnet

There are various tutorials, but my method is a bit different but it’s all basically the same idea:

• Download automatic1111

• Find a good stable diffusion model (comes with SD1.5), I’ve been playing with Reliberate recently

• install ControlNET extension

• generate QR code (use high error rate, like 30%)

• Use txt2img with QR code in ControlNet on maybe a ā€œstart at 0.21, end at 1ā€ weight. (use tiling for best, imo)

• I use high sampling numbers too, like 40 or 50

• Try to get a prompt that’s friendly to tons of variation

• Generate a bunch, pick the best (you might have one that works already)

• Send back through img2img with the QR again in ControlNet

I made one real fast that's not super great but just to show example of one done on the fly. The secret is to try a bunch of variations and different models until you get stuff that looks good.

Another good method is to actually have a generated image (like your city or whatever) in ControlNet first run (use depth or canny or something) and use the prompt in a txt2img, but have the second unit ControlNet be the QR code (use tiling). It works good too and produces slightly different aesthetic.

Thank you! I will try this tomorrow šŸ¤™

So far, so good. I set it all up, now I'm generating but where do I set the weight? And choose the model? ā€œstart at 0.21, end at 1ā€ weight, I don't see a field or an option for that?!

I found the model selection they are just not initialized yet.

Are you trying to do this to a video or something? I haven’t used the M2M script you have selected. (At least that’s what it looks like)

No I'm trying to follow the instructions, this is what I thought I should do to get a fancy QR code 😬 It's my first time operating with A1111 and stable diffusion and I don't know what I'm doing.

Lol, I think that’s some sort of movie file controlnet, which is odd because I hadn’t even seen that. But do the same thing basically except use the ControlNet 1.1.32 drop down spot.

Also make sure it’s enabled, numerous times I put in all the parameters and everything only to realize when none of the image were even close that I hadn’t hit the ā€œenableā€ checkbox šŸ˜†

Looks like you out the QR in a ControlNet M2M tab which I don’t know anything about, but if you look just above it there you see another ControlNet drop down that just has a 1.1.whatever after it, that’s the one you need to enable and add the QR to.
