chief of staff is a massive waste of money for an early stage startup.

also this sounds suspiciously like "influencer protocol" more so than anything else. "Personal brand"? Build something valuable with high-agency people (not chiefs of staff to manage nobody) before you do anything else.

businesses are founded on providing value, not "building brands"

You can be an anarcho-libertarian-based person and still find some normie business advice practical. The hey takeaways here are: Getting focus, automatig/delegating small but important stuff, and finding a couple of people who are as skilled as you are and have your best interests at heart, to help advise and gatekeep.

Oh, and #2 was just basic networking and being charismatic 🤷🏼‍♀️

These lists are basically useless if they're this generalistic.

Take an engineering product. Should I eliminate backup & recovery because it doesn't drive my growth because everyone takes it for granted?

What's the supposed leverage for my business to have a CoS? If there is a valid reason, why hide it with LinkedIn speak?
