Meta is considering getting customers in Europe to pay monthly subscription fees to use Instagram and Facebook if they don't agree to let Meta use their data to serve them ads.
Pretty sure that's a GDPR violation. But I don't see GDPR being enforced well anyway, so...

Meta's market cap is ~$766 billion.
This fine is a slap on the wrist. EU should be ashamed of their own cowardice.
