I used be a big fan of Micheal Malice (I still am, actually) he is an author and anarchist. Anyone interested should look him up and read his books. I credit him as being the gateway drug to my own awakening. In terms of actually thinking and not being completely oblivious/ asleep at the wheel.

For a brief time I believed In anarchism the philosophy (not the more widely accepted definition of "chaos"). In some respects I still do. However, the more I think about governance and a state. I don't currently see how a society can exist without one.

Even if I find a society without a state desirable.

Additionally I am open to the idea of a stateless society. I don't think it is necessarily an amoral thing or anything. I simply can't wrap my head around what it would look like in practice currently.

I have David Graeber on my reading list. I know he has some books, or maybe debates about the existence of such societies.

Hopefully they will illuminate me.

Very easy. Go to anywhere in the world where the State is absent. People still go on and live a normal life.
