It says bitcoin not sats..can someone translate?
Hey! Yes, it says Bitcoin because I paid using a Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. Sats are the smallest denominations of a a Bitcoin. Here is the lightning receipt. 108,967 Satsβ¦. $45usd at the time of purchaseβ¦ $55usd as of todays market price
Hope this helps! People spend Bitcoin. People spend sats!
And that is 108,000+,i was asking what 3000+ sats could buy...
Bitcoin is money. 3000 sats is approximately $1.30 USD. So not much given the current cost of things.
So not much because you can pay for a 108,000 sats that someone from a 3rd world country who can only/just have a 2000 or 3000 sats w/out any stores to try/pay it to...DO YOU FUCKING UNDERZTAND THE WORDS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH?
Iβm holding my phone closer to my head now and I still donβt hear anything π
A sat is just a divisible unit. Like a penny. The problem you are concerned with is poverty, not bitcoin
And fuck you too...i really wish/hope our world turns 360Β°,and i'll come to say/explain how life to you how is so much easy with easy acess to banks.
Why are you so hostile? You asked a question and I tried to help friend π I have family in El Salvador. I understand their issues. Bitcoin has been a useful bridge for them in many ways. Yes, the western world take for granted the banking system and ease of access it gives them. Bitcoin represents hope for those who dont have those options available to them
Where are you from friend?
Philippines, and don't tell me there are so many stores who accept bitcoin,i am from the PHILIPPINES,never saw one, never heard people nor speak about bitcoin in my end...been studying it for years, can't afford it though,i just feel i have it,but can't prove it because of the scarcity of real people to speak it with
Heya! Iβm from Canada. Your country is very beautiful. Iβm not familiar with Bitcoin in the Philippines and itβs level of adoption where you are. Even here in Canada, there are not a lot of places we can actually SPEND our bitcoin. Aside from trading between other users and spending online, no real retailers actually accept it.
Thatβs the future we are working towards though
How much you know about bitcoin?
Does one need to have a bank account to own it?
I know enough for my own needs. No, Bitcoin does not require a bank. It requires you to create a wallet though and there are a couple different ways to do that. Ideally, you take for responsibility for the custody of your Bitcoin and your keys π
Without human to human interaction,i see bitcoin still hard to grasp for ordinary filipino's like me...i mean having a bank account and purchasing/mining bitcoin on an exchange or a bank is so much harder to understand compared explaining it to a person who never had a bank account and say bitcoin can bought from a peer to peer anonymously...you get my point?
See just expressing my thoughts is such a challenge...its not what i wanted to say,yet because i have to be FORCED to speak(not on my native language), words and thoughts may be seen/understood in a different meaning..what more if i ask/speak about bitcoin?

Look Peter, Bitcoin (address/"wallet") IS your "bankaccount".
For free. No questions asked. For everyone.
You just need to tell the people where they have to send the coins to.
Find someone willing to sell Bitcoin in exchange for work, service or even money, and let yourself pay the coins to your account.
I am sure there are tourist happy to pay with BTC for a lot of things.
No there aren't,you're not for my country, how would you know?
Can't afford it too,too expensive,so i tried asking for it once, and gave my address, and was called a whimsy cunt grifter?
Why is it for everyone if no one can help but yourself while its literature mostly written in english...and don't even know who owns it...so much complexity for stupid minded people like me...
How close are you to Boracay? Seems like there is a lot of tourism there and the bitcoin lightning network is used quite a bit!
Can i ask a question,so how does selling bitcoin works?does the seller gives his/her/their private keys when they sell their bitcoin to the buyer/s?
Sorry
