Probably unpopular, but Dave Ramsey's major advice completely changed my life for the better. Ironically, he is the reason I eventually looked for where to put my extra wealth and ended up choosing Bitcoin (real estate was my original default plan). He's the reason I had extra wealth to worry about at all.

Obviously, SOV is only one component, but that's where I was when I found Bitcoin. The whole Covid stimi math also had me worried. I remember people laughing at me at work when I told them that check was going to cost them a lot more in the coming years. I've since learned that my math was actually pretty far off. They were right to tell me I was wrong. I was way too conservative and it ended up being much worse than I predicted. But I can't really even conceptualize the numbers anymore. It's so abstract to try to understand 30T and the amounts we spend these days.
