If you put a small upcharge on fiat, almost everyone opts to just pay with Bitcoin.

But no normal business would ever do that...right?

Well, as fiat eats margins, it will continue to be more common to directly pass on the ~3% card fee to customers.

Bitcoin is cheaper.

Heck, it’s already common for businesses to have a ā€œ3% convenience feeā€ for card payments

Bitcoin is better intensifies

Especially in local government. I’m always paying surcharges for water bills. It shouldn’t be hard to fight back when there is an alternative for digital payments

Oof they're. Gonna be the last ones.

In Colorado you can pay taxes in Bitcoin but the upcharge is high

They already do this in many establishments in Asia. Often, when I pay with card, I'm told it'll be 2-5% more expensive.

People will def pay with Bitcoin at these places eventually

I'm on Boracay, the supposed Bitcoin Island in the Philippines.

Nobody accepts bitcoin here anymore, locals saying its completely phased out.

Hopefully it'll be back.,
