I'm on nostr because I want to find people that have similar interests and follow them to learn from other people and show people the kinds of things we are doing here at the micro-homestead at casa de cholla. We are planting a few more sunflower seeds around the yard today and working on the "3rd bedroom" which part of which will be used to grow things like lettuce and microgreens. Currently we just have some sorghum, cow pea, maybe some okra, wildflowers and one sunflower grown from seed as soon as we moved in. We didn't have much time or resources to start building the soil before it gets too hot, here in the Sonoran Desert. I'll post some pictures some time soon! #nostr #grownostr

Thoughts on best microgreens?
Honestly I got really excited and ordered a bunch of different seeds but I am still working the kinks out, I'll have to post some pics.

I also grow indoor and out. Consider adding green onions cuz they are super easy both indoor and outside, can grow well with other things, and can even do well once rooted over winter buried in snow. They are bi-annual, so in year 2 you can get seeds.
Next time you bring some home, just pop them in soil instead of the fridge. That's a quick way to begin.
