Fun fact: Bitcoin in self-custody is very easy to confiscate.

Way easier than gold.

Nope

Yes. We just don't admit it.

Gold can be just taken. Bitcoin can't be taken.

Gold can be found by searching your property, bitcoin can't be found anywhere if you store your seed wisely.

Not really? You can even kind of store bitcoin in the form of gold (words engraved on a coin) with a seal.

Your kyc UTXOs. Feds walk in, point a gun to your head, most people will start reciting their mnemonic.

Stress is bad for my memory:-)

There is no link to any utxos i apprently own, lost them all to the pre set up hardware wallet I got as a gift on that conference.

I lost my keys is actually a bad answer. Because now you have told them that you can never move those coins, so if they move, you have lied.

stolen?

Stolen is slightly better, but if they are stolen the coins shouldn't be in the addresses you used for kyc because whoever stole your keys will move the coins.

also if enough people say stolen, now the gun point will just move to your kids head from your head.

does your gold position reflect this take?

The thing with gold is, its supply isn't audited like Bitcoin so you could get away not giving up everything as long as you can prove that you only own X amount because in most places acquiring non-kyc gold isn't very hard.

To be clear, I'm not saying gold is better, I'm only saying privacy on Bitcoin sucks.
