I’m to the point where I will start asking the Manager “What did he or she do for me to earn a tip?”
I know the person at the register is an employee , entering numbers on a screen provided by the employer, so therefore blameless. Manager can report to owner.
you will tip harder... and be happy.
The brainwash is deep and hard.
I actually thought you meant a culture that was falling over ... then I read the comments and realized it was referencing something else entirely.
