On numerous occasions, Jesus elevated the status of women. In his culture, women were largely property. The testimony of a woman was not valid in court. But several women were prominent figures in Christ’s ministry, including the women who were the first to see him after this resurrection. When they told the others, they didn’t believe them. Because they were women? IDK.

Women being the first to see the resurrected Christ is a strong apologetic in that why would the Apostles testify to this when women were deemed untrustworthy, 2nd rate people, etc.
