In theory NotABot is setup to be a hierarchical graph/chain where verifications flow unidirectionally from a source like a slime mold sort of. So it should be possible to trace the origin of entry of a bad actor and reduce the confidence score of those in that chain based on their proximity. So if you’re a bad actor or simply someone who decides to prove the system can be gamed, you end up harming the reputations of those that brought you in as well as your own. All of your verifier’s confidence scores get reduced, your verifications get rescinded by those who want to disassociate, and the heart keeps beating. Getting stronger every time. Strengthening the bonds. Ousting the bad actors.

That’s the theory. Things could be very different in practice. This app is an act of creativity and curiosity asking a simple question… Can a community of mostly nyms create tight enough bonds to create a virtual territory and defend it?
