The unstable society of Venezuela, mostly caused by fiat currency, poses a threat to the interests of the United States (the biggest issuer of fiat currency).

The US is going to make the Federal Reserve note the money of Venezuela, or at least have it tied to a new colonial currency like with the African CFA, and closely "ally" themselves with the state they ultimately will fully control.
