It’s a theory based off of the Monroe Doctrine, Venezuela’s oil reserves, and maritime access points. He wants it and is willing to take it by force. Showing others they could be next if they don’t comply is the scare tactic.

Is it not simply oil and control? On the surface they blame narcotics. Feels abit like the WMD pretext for the Iraq war. It's non of DCs business but they take what they want. I feel bad for the people because they are the ones who will get hurt the most.
BC the West is now US and the East is China, and Venezuela is in the US backyard selling a strategic asset (oil) to China. Same with the Panama canal, same with Greenland, strategic things in US territory.
This could also be America securing oil access for America so that Israel can go full out and destroy Iran. Destroying Iran will mean Iran shutting down shipping lanes in the region.

Currently there is an oversupply, oil is priced relatively cheaply with lots of supply.
So it ain't about the oil. It's about sending a message to China.

The unstable society of Venezuela, mostly caused by fiat currency, poses a threat to the interests of the United States (the biggest issuer of fiat currency).
The US is going to make the Federal Reserve note the money of Venezuela, or at least have it tied to a new colonial currency like with the African CFA, and closely "ally" themselves with the state they ultimately will fully control.
The US has entered the Empire stage of fiat states, it is forcibly overthrowing the current fiat Mafia in order to replace it with subservience to ours. The US is speed running the collapse of empire, and Bitcoin is here to pickup the pieces.
